AST Language Services MD Andrew Schlich and Project Manager Liz Patterson attended the latest Thames Valley Expo in Reading and the Oxford Business Expo on consecutive days to help spread the word about their Oxford office. They aimed to highlight what the company can offer local firms who need to work with overseas clients.
“We made very good contacts and both days were very rewarding,” said Andrew. “Companies in this region who export to Europe and beyond have an obvious need for translation services. We can help with anything from translating a client letter to internationalising an entire website in order to open up overseas markets.”
“These networking events ticked all the boxes for us so we will certainly be attending more of them. The Oxford office has been open for over a year now and has attracted some major clients in the region. However, raising awareness of what we offer is all part of our plans to ensure its continuing success and expansion. The expos at Oxford and Thames Valley have been a great opportunity for that.”
